Hey there lovely listeners! In this episode we explore the world of male Wiccans, and decide if they have a plight or not, if the matriarchy is making the same mistakes the patriarchy is making, and how men in general feel. We tried get a REAL Wiccan man on the show, but they all had to work, so we gave our male perspective. (Basically, we just repeated our husbands gripes and talked about them.) We also had the lovely Ms. Aesa on the show talking about public resources for those learning the pagan path. As always we had your comments and dates for the calendar: March 19th Emerald Dragon Ostara Arlington uniterian church 6
March 22nd Fort Worth Witches Meetup Also March 22nd Wicca 101 in Richardson March 26th Expericence the chakras in Addison from 10-12:45 March 27th Blue moon Psychic Fair in dallas from 12-6 Also, we talked about what we can do to help the Japanese earthquake relief effort. Please donate, if you can. Good vibes and energy are ALWAYS welcome. Renny and I offer our support and love to those with family and friends in Japan, the Japanese people, and those who can't find their loved ones everywhere.

Welcome Listeners to the Yule-Mini-Sode #7.5. We hope y'all are having safe and happy holiday seasons! In this mini-sode we bring to you listener feedback and the "Blippers" from Episode #7. We also have some music for you. Enjoy! Feel free to send your comments, thoughts and questions to us! We love it! **CORRECTION** Rose would like to apologize to John Beckett Coordinating Officer – Denton CUUPS. The lovely e-mail you had sent us got clipped when printing and it was completely unintentional. I also got your name wrong and used your e-mail address. My deepest and most sincere apologies. Here is the e-mail in it’s entirety and a link to his blog. Dear Renny and Rose, I’m glad you devoted some time to “thinking questions” in Episode 6. They inspired an essay on my blog (“Under the Ancient Oaks”) that’s probably too long to read on your podcast – here’s a condensed version. I think you were exactly right that Pagans should not proselytize. Our gods and goddesses call who they choose to call, and most Pagans understand that what’s right for us may not be right for someone else. We do need to promote Paganism. Through our books, websites, blogs, podcasts, and especially with our public presence, we let people know we’re here and that there is an alternative to both orthodox religion on one side and to atheism and secularism on the other. Attempting to debate Christian apologists is a waste of time, but we need to be able to give a rational explanation of our beliefs and practices. I usually give a simple three-fold explanation of Paganism: a view of the Divine as both female and male, a connection to Nature and its rhythms and cycles, and a resonance with our ancestors and their beliefs and practices. That won’t change anyone’s beliefs, but it may let them learn that there’s more to Paganism than what they’ve seen on TV or heard from poorly-informed preachers. Thanks for all you do to promote Paganism in North Texas. Keep up the good work, and keep up the “thinking questions!” Music: Blackmore's Night: Winter Carols Album: Winter (Basse Danse) and Ma-O-Tzur Have a Happy and Safe Holiday Season! See you in 2011! |

Greetings friends! We’re back after a short hiatus, and let me say, we have missed ya’ll. In episode 6, Renny and I go over the topic of pagan unity, the issues with it, what it would take to have it, and most importantly, what it is and would mean for pagans. We also did reviews of CMA, the Cowtown Celtic Festival, the Fort Worth Witches Meetup, and CoG Samhain. The calendar kicks off on the sixteenth with Beginnings Basic Tarot for both the beginner and the more experienced reader Sacred Journey Fellowship, a psychic fair on the twenty first, Fort Worth Witches meet up on the 24th and the first monthly CMA North Texas Pagan Night Out in Fort Worth from 7pm-9pm at IHOP on SW loop 820 hosted by Rose and her husband Beowulf. Come out and say Hello! We closed our show with Janise’s TMI question about our most embarassing pagan moment…you will have to listen to find out what they were!

Hello All! We wanted to let you know what we're planning in Novemeber. Our calendars have been slammed since mid-October and up thru the first few weeks of November. Therefore, we plan to record and put out Episode 6 in the middle of November and do not plan to release a "minisode" (or 1/2 show) this month. We're hoping to get back to our normal schedule in December. Thanks for your understanding and support! Have a Happy and Safe Samhain! --Renny & Rose Category:general
